Then you came to the right place. With En Bombas, I give personalized and fun 1-on-1 and 1-on-2 tutor classes for beginner, intermediate and advanced Spanish speakers.

Why would I want you as my teacher?

I have been there too. Learning a language is not necessarily easy, but it can definitely be fun. English is my second language, I was basically forced to learn Italian to survive a six month exchange in Milan and I am currently trying to learn Dutch. There are tips and tricks that I have used myself during my language learning process and I am confident that they can help others too. I love introducing my students to peculiarities of the Spanish language that are many times unknown to non native speakers. Besides teaching you proper grammar, I am going to make sure that you get the full Spanish -a bit Latin American influenced- experience, recommending you songs, movies, books and anything that can make your journey learning Spanish easier and more fun.  

Does my current level of Spanish matter ?

Whether this is your first time learning Spanish or you already have some knowledge of the language, I am ready to help. In our first class I will evaluate your current Spanish level so I can identify your starting point and tailor the next classes to meet your needs. I do follow a general list of topics depending on your level so that as we advance with the classes you can check it out to see your progress and also get excited about what’s yet to come!

How does a lesson normally looks like?

Your goals are my priority when planning the classes. Whether you want to learn Spanish because of an upcoming trip or you need it for your job, the topics and approach will be different. However, in general I like to start the class focusing on conversation. During 20-30 minutes we will talk about our week plans or play a game that encourages you to loosen up and start speaking! Maybe in the first classes it will sound more like Spanglish (a mix between Spanish and English), but I assure you that with time you will gain confidence and, little by little, introduce more spanish vocabulary into the conversations. After that, we dive into the topic of the class which is often grammar related. I do like leaving some kind of homework which, most of the time, is related to building vocabulary. If you do that during your own time, then our classes can be more efficiently used to learn grammar and practice your conversation skills.

Which plan should I go for?

If you are not ready to commit to many  classes or if your schedule doesn’t allow you to, single classes are the perfect option for you. You contact me when you want to take the class and pay after you take it. No strings attached. However, if you are fully committed to learning Spanish and want to take advantage of the discount of buying a package of classes, you can pay for the 15 classes package. After paying the fee you will be able to take 15 classes of one hour each within 20 weeks after the first class.  

The more the merrier. With the one on two option, you and a friend/partner/family member can start the fun journey of learning Spanish together. Classes can be really fun when there are more people in the process with you. And best of all? You have a friend to practice with when the  class is over! You can take single classes or buy the package depending on what suits you both best!
